Then out in the field to put your new found learning to the test for you. Whatever you take will be with you forever. We can hire you the equipment or you can bring your own even a good phone will be fantastic
Because Southern Africa is a vast area the various regions are very diverse and our photographic workshops followed by the field trips to various parts of South Africa including a safari is a must
We go to the stunning Drakensberg in the Cape Winelands, then onto a 3 day Eastern Cape Safari to capture your images of wild animals.
These hands-on experiences are more than just a fun activity. By participating, you’re often supporting community-driven projects that create economic opportunities for local people.
Day 1: Arrive in Cape Town and check into the Southern Sun Waterfront Hotel. Cape Town is a port city on South Africa’s southwest coast, on a peninsula beneath the imposing Table Mountain. Slowly rotating cable cars climb to the mountain’s flat top, from which there are sweeping views of the city, the busy harbor and boats heading for Robben Island, the notorious prison that once held Nelson Mandela, which is now a living museum.
Day 2: Start your Photographic Workshops. Start your Photographic workshop. Overnight Southern Sun Waterfront Hotel.
Day 3: Workshops Continue. Continue your Photographic workshop. Overnight Southern Sun Waterfront Hotel.
Day 4: Continue Workshops. Continue your Photographic workshop. Overnight Southern Sun Waterfront Hotel.
Day 5: Continue Workshops and field trip. Continue your Photographic workshop. Overnight Southern Sun Waterfront Hotel.
Day 6: Continue Workshops and field trip. Continue your Photographic workshop. Overnight Southern Sun Waterfront Hotel.
Day 7: Finish the workshops in Cape Town. We finish our Photographic workshops in Cape Town and now time to go exploring on our various Field Trips with our professional Photographer.
Day 8: Cape Town – Stellenbosch. Today a short drive to Stellenbosch, a university town in South Africa’s Western Cape province. It’s surrounded by the vineyards of the Cape Winelands and the mountainous nature reserves of Jonkershoek and Simonsberg. Great dutch architecture. Overnight Le Franschhoek Hotel & Spa
Day 9: Stellenbosch – Oudtshoorn. Oudtshoorn is a town in the Klein Karoo area known for its ostrich farms together with the wine route. The Museum traces the ostrich-feather boom era. The nearby Cango Wildlife Ranch is a conservation park. To the north, the Cango Caves are a 20-million-year-old network of limestone chambers. Overnight Mooiplaas Country Guesthouse.
Day 10: Outshoorn – Knysna. Knysna is a famous coastal town along South Africa’s scenic Garden Route, with the dramatic Knysna Heads sea cliffs, its warm-water lagoon, forests, and world-class fresh oysters. Overnight Protea hotel Knysna Quays.
Day 11: Knysna: Continue with visit to the Featherbed Nature Reserve. Overnight Protea hotel Knysna Quays.
Day 12: Knysna – Tsitsikamma – Kariega Game Reserve. The Game Reserves are top nature destinations. Tsitsikamma has coastal forests, marine reserves, and suspension bridges, while Kariega, has the Big Five safari experience. Overnight Kariega Main Lodge.
Day 13: On Safari: 12,000 hectares of pristine African bush with two majestic rivers, the beauty and biodiversity of the reserve offer exceptional game viewing and birding, including the Big 5.
Day 14: On Safari: Through the Kariega Foundation, with a commitment to conservation and community advancement, working to protect wildlife.
Day 15: Kariega Game Reserve – Port Elizabeth. We come to the end and by now you will have the most amazing images.
